La Mota Ranch has been operating since 1895. Today its owners offer historical tours of the ranch and the surrounding area to view the many artifacts collected over the years. Nature fans can observe the different species of plants, animals and birds living around the ranch. Trail rides, star gazing trips, motorcoach day tours and other activites are also available. Jacob's Well Tours The Wimberley Valley Watershed Association hosts tours at Jacob's Well. The group's hope is to get people active in water conservation.
